To recognize the credential of an individual who has made outstanding contribution in local and global perspectives for the advancement of waste management, ‘WasteSafe Life Time Achievement Award’ is being awarded since 2017. This recognition will be given through an award, namely, “WasteSafe Lifetime Achievement Award”, to be presented biennially during the WasteSafe International Conference at Khulna, Bangladesh. The name of the recipient of “WasteSafe Lifetime Achievement Award 2025” will be declared by next January 2025, after getting nominations from different corners. So, you are invited to send the nomination (single nomination) by next 15 January 2025.
The award will be handed over to the recipient with a simple ceremojny during the Conference Dinner will be held on 22 February 2025.

o WasteSafe 2019: Prof. Dr. Raffaello Cossu, Italy
o WasteSafe 2023: Dr. Paolo Russo, Italy
2. Best Paper Award
To encourage the quality research in the area of wate managemnt globally, three Best Paper Award will be provided in 3 different categories:
a) Solid Wastes and Faecal Sludge Management
b) Plastics, Medical and EEE Wastes Management
c) Integrated Solid Waste and Wastewater Management & Treatment.
The three recipients, mainly Young Researchers will be decided through a jury board from the presented paper during 22 and 23 February 2025. The receipient will be honoured during the Closing Session of the WasteSafe 2025 Conference through a certification, a bouquet of flower and elligibility to attend in the next WasteSafe Conference without Registration Fee.
